| Diana de Carrabus - Candythief |
Diana called us with a stressful situation due occurred due to her storage device failing and all the sound files for her band’s new album on the faulty device. A backup had been done but was vastly out of date and several songs were not updated or missing completely.
Faced with the prospect of having to re-record tracks again and claw back valuable time Diana turned to the data recovery professionals here at Kingdom Data Recovery.
Seriously degraded hard drives are harder to recover, if you suspect your hard drive is failing do not power it up again and contact a Data Recovery Specialist
Some files had been recovered previously by an IT Professional but the hard drives that were a RAID configuration had been seriously degraded and further recovery was going to be difficult to perform.
Thankfully Kingdom Data Recovery managed to recover 100% of the data not only for her band Candythief but for another band as well who happened to be on the hard drives. Diana added:
Great communication, including keeping me updated during bank holiday weekend; prompt realistic management of expectation around whether data was retrievable or not, they did recover the data in the end and pretty much exceeded my expectations on all fronts in terms of keeping me informed/dropping off & collecting when arranged and being easy and pleasant to deal with.
Diana was very lucky that the data was fully recovered and they are well on track to finish the album as planned. Had Kingdom Data Recovery received the hard drives before any attempts had been made to recover the data from a Non Data Recovery specialist than the process may well have been less traumatic for Diana and the band. Don’t risk losing all your data, contact a Data Recovery Specialist at the first sign of trouble.
Also if you back up data, then back up regularly, there is software available to automate backup of files so you don’t have to worry about it manually. Please call 0131 208 0008 for further details.
